Quick Work Vital in Rural Fire

Wednesday on State Road 39 North, Frankfort Fire Department’s A-Crew led by Deputy Chief Uitts and Captain Freeman was dispatched to a structure fire. Frankfort Fire Department responded quickly and was able to get the fire under control and extinguished. If it wasn’t for the quick action of the passersby’s this structure could have been a total loss.

Thank you Andrew Bowman of Arcadia for you quick action to call 911, and thank you to Jose Martinez and Patricia Saavedra of Frankfort for your quick response to rescue the two pets that was inside the structure. It is a testament that with the quick actions of these three individuals that the structure will be able to be repaired and that two family pets were saved.

Thank you Clinton County Dispatch for your hard work and thank you Clinton County Sheriff’s Department for your assistance with traffic control, that helped our fire crews out tremendously! Thank you to CCEMS (Medic 1) for your assistance in standing by for our safety. This fire is currently under investigation.
