The 37th annual WILO Senior Fair is happening today, Wednesday, Sept. 23, bringing seniors from throughout the area together for a day of music, food, entertainment and fun.
This year’s “Rockin’ Down the Highway” Senior Fair is being held at a new location — the Frankfort-Clinton County Regional Airport, located at 3009 W. State Road 28 in Frankfort, next to Tennco. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Senior Fair is free and open to everyone age 50 and older.
Attendees can enjoy a full day of activities, including free breakfast and lunch, live entertainment, bingo, door prizes and local vendors. Area businesses and organizations will also be on hand to provide information, resources and services for seniors.
There will also be plenty to see outside, with classic cars, airplanes and a visit from the LifeLine helicopter adding to the day’s activities.
Guests attending the fair are asked to drive straight back past the last building to the designated parking area. For those who need assistance getting from the parking area to the event, Paul Phillippe will be onsite with a shuttle bus to transport guests.
The event is presented by WILO Radio and Kaspar Media and features WILO 96.9 FM/1570 AM and Boone’s Best 102.7 FM.
With food, entertainment, community vendors and plenty to see, organizers are inviting everyone age 50 and older to come out to the airport and enjoy the 37th annual WILO Senior Fair.
