Communities across Clinton County and the surrounding area are preparing for Independence Day festivities, featuring parades, festivals, live entertainment, and fireworks displays throughout July 3 and July 4.
In the event of inclement weather, organizers of local Fourth of July celebrations advise that some activities may be delayed, relocated, or canceled for safety reasons.

Burlington – July 3 Celebration
Burlington Community Park, 425 E. 5th St., Burlington, IN
Burlington will kick off the holiday weekend with a 250th Anniversary Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 3 at Burlington Community Park.
Festivities will run throughout the evening and include vendors, concessions, face painting, and inflatable attractions. Live music by the Undercover Band will take place from 7 to 9 p.m., followed by a fireworks show at dusk.
Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the evening events.
Frankfort – July 4 Festival
TPA Park, 1 Adrian Marks Drive, Frankfort, IN
Frankfort’s annual Fourth of July Festival will take place on Saturday, July 4 at TPA Park, offering a full day of activities celebrating Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary.
Festivities begin at 3 p.m. with an opening ceremony and National Anthem, followed by live music, food vendors, and family activities throughout the afternoon and evening. Entertainment includes performances by The Jacks, the Jessie Brown Duo, and Neon 90s Country Rewind.
Additional events include Pilates in the Park at 8:30 a.m. and the Stars & Stripes Car Show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the TPA Shelter. The celebration concludes with fireworks at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Flora – Fourth of July Parade
Division Street, Maple Street, Center Street, and Main Street, Flora, IN (ending near Flora Town Park)
The Flora Community Club will host its annual Fourth of July Parade at noon on July 4.
The parade begins at the Municipal Garage on Division Street, travels west on Maple Street, turns south on Center Street, and continues east on Main Street before concluding near Flora Town Park.
Residents are invited to line the route and take part in the community celebration.
Delphi – Independence Day Parade & Fireworks
Downtown Delphi streets and Delphi Community School Corporation, 501 Armory Rd., Delphi, IN
Delphi will host its 32nd Independence Day Parade beginning at 10 a.m. on July 4.
The parade begins at the P&R parking area (1100 N. Washington Street), travels through downtown streets including Washington, Monroe, Market, and Franklin, and features floats, tractors, vehicles, and walking groups.
A memorial service will also be held near the courthouse, followed by a fireworks display at dusk at the Delphi Community School Corporation.
Lebanon and Boone County – Multi-Day Celebration
Lebanon Memorial Park and various Boone County locations, Lebanon, IN
Boone County communities, centered in Lebanon, will host a multi-day Independence Day celebration from June 27 through July 5.
Events include a carnival, concerts, community dinners, contests, and a July 4 parade, along with a 250th Anniversary drone and fireworks show.
Additional nearby celebrations include fireworks and community events in Zionsville, Whitestown, and Thorntown throughout the holiday week.
Zionsville – July 4 Celebration

Zionsville will host its Fourth of July Celebration from 5 to 11 p.m. on July 4 at Lions Park.
The event includes live entertainment, food vendors, bounce houses, and a fireworks show honoring America’s 250th anniversary.
Whitestown and Thorntown Events
Whitestown Eagle Church area, Whitestown, IN / Heavenly Acres Farm, Thorntown, IN
Whitestown will host a July 3 celebration featuring live music, food, inflatables, and fireworks at Eagle Church from 6 to 10:30 p.m.
Thorntown will offer a free fireworks show at Heavenly Acres Farm on July 3 beginning at approximately 9:40 p.m., along with a family-friendly celebration on July 4 featuring music, games, and activities.
