A tornado north of Rossville damaged a building in the area after 9 p.m. Friday. There were no reports of injuries.
The Central Indiana area will remain under the threat of hazardous weather through the middle of next week as isolated showers and thunderstorms will produce locally heavy rainfall with strong gusty winds at times. Flooding is also a possibility in areas where heavy rainfall has already fallen.
A record rainfall of 2.16 inches was set for the Indianapolis area Friday. It broke the old record of 1.75 set in 1942.
National Weather Service meteorologists will be doing a damage survey in Tippecanoe and Carroll Counties Saturday.
