Town Of Zionsville Hosts Extra Trash Week For Additional Holiday Trash

The Town of Zionsville has announced that it will host an extra trash week beginning tomorrow through Dec. 31 for community members in the Zionsville area to rid their households of additional trash that may build up during the holiday season.

The Town stated that the extra trash week will span from tomorrow, Dec. 26 through Dec. 31. Community members may place unlimited bagged household trash next to their can on regular service day for collection. Bags must be stacked at a maximum of two bags high, and no collection will be executed today, Dec. 25 due to the Christmas holiday. All regular pick-up will operate on a one-day delay for the rest of the week.

Christmas trees may be disposed as priority pickup in January, and trees above six-feet tall must be cut into sections.

An Earth and Turf recycling event will also be held on Jan. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 5095 W. 106th St. in Zionsville. Trees must be bare with no decorations or bags for the event.
