It was a beautiful day for kids to spend the afternoon outside today at Clinton Central Elementary enjoying warm weather, exercise, and fun.
Donald Helmick, Teacher/Coach said “It has been since the 2018-2019 school year that students have been able to have a traditional track and field day at Clinton Central Elementary. Students in third grade and lower have not had the experience ever”.
Helmick also said that “We decided it was time to bring the fun day of the past back. Meaning an all day activity with 24 stations. Stations included slip-n-slide kickball, tug-of-war, running events, team building events, an obstacle course, among other things. The staff worked together to make this a great return to what track and field day had been in the past. There were smiles on the students faces everywhere you looked”.
