Individuals wishing to vote in today’s Primary Election will have seven different vote centers to choose from in Clinton County. The Courthouse is not open for voting on Election Day. It will be open for election business only.

Voters can vote from now to 6 p.m. at the following locations: Community Schools of Frankfort Administration Center, Colfax Christian Church, Rossville Town Park Pavilion, Kirklin Town Hall, Michigantown Christian Church, Clinton County EMA Building (not on the fairgrounds property) and Mulberry Police Station Garage.

Hoosiers head to the polls today in the May Primary to determine who will be on the ballot in November for the general election.

Locally, Clinton County residents will determine the future of Clinton County Sheriff Rich Kelly as he is running for re-election. Kelly has one republican challenger, Mark Mitchell. Mitchell is also former sheriff for the county.

For Clerk of the Circuit Court incumbent Rhea Harris has one challenger, Stephanie Harshbarger.

It’s a three-way race for Clinton County Council member District 1 with candidates Rhonda Light,  Carol Price, and Mark Timmons, all on the republican ticket.

Also, three candidates for the newly created District 41 State Representative seat are hoping to get enough votes to run against a democrat in November. Those candidates are Richard Bagsby, Mark Genda and Shane Weist.

WILO will have a special election roundup beginning at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
