On October 24, Indiana State Trooper Patrick O’Keefe arrested a Greenfield, Indiana man for operating while intoxicated after he drove to the Indiana State Police Bremen Post to speak to the trooper.<\/p>\n
O’Keefe had made arrangements to meet Scott Schroeder, age 57, at the Indiana State Police Bremen Post to retrieve some of his belongings from a separate incident.\u00a0Schroeder arrived at the post around 5:37 p.m. and parked out front and went to the door to meet O’Keefe.<\/p>\n
O’Keefe began speaking to Schroeder and immediately suspected that Schroeder was impaired.O’Keefe began an investigation and ultimately arrested Schroeder on preliminary charges of Operating While Intoxicated, C-Misdemeanor, and Operating While Intoxicated Endangerment, A-Misdemeanor.\u00a0Schroeder was also arrested on active warrants for Operating While Intoxicated and Criminal Recklessness and taken to the Marshall County Jail.<\/p>\n
Schroeder tested over three times the legal limit of .08% BAC (blood alcohol concentration).<\/p>\n
