On Tuesday, Senior Trooper Joel Flores noticed a disabled vehicle along I-65 near the 108 mile marker. Another vehicle had stopped behind the disabled Honda and two people were with the vehicle. When Flores walked up to see if the stranded motorists needed assistance he noticed signs of forced entry into the car. A female was inside the car, allegedly looking through the center console, and a male was jacking up the passenger side of the vehicle. Further investigation and evidence at the scene led to the arrest of both individuals.<\/p>\n
38-year-old David Mitchel and 33-year-old Ashley Crawford were both arrested and preliminarily charged with theft, unauthorized entry and conspiracy.<\/p>\n
