Susan L. (Stewart) O\u2019Brien, 69, of Frankfort, died May 27, 2021 at I.U. Health Arnett, Lafayette, Ind.\u00a0 She was born July 29, 1951 in Frankfort, Indiana to Herman Wayne & Velma Mae (Laughner) Stewart.\u00a0 She married John R. O\u2019Brien on June 21, 1969 at the Woodside Christian Church, Frankfort and he survives.<\/p>\n

Sue was a 1969 graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Frankfort resident.\u00a0 She had worked in the Frankfort Municipal Utilities office for 25 years, retiring in 2011 as the Billing Office Manager.\u00a0 She was a member of the Mulberry Baptist Church, American Legion\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.\u00a0 Susan loved working in the yard with her flowers.\u00a0 She enjoyed playing her video slots.\u00a0 She loved everything about her grandchildren and enjoyed family get-togethers, especially the holiday seasons.\u00a0 She also enjoyed spending winters in Hilton Head, SC with John.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her husband:\u00a0 John R. O\u2019Brien of Frankfort,\u00a02 sons:\u00a0 Douglas (Stephanie) O\u2019Brien of rural Frankfort and Kevin (Martha) O\u2019Brien of Frankfort, sister:\u00a0 Sandra (companion Mike Kemmerer) Glover of Frankfort,\u00a06 grandchildren, Whitney (Michael) Burns of Highland, Ind., Baileigh (fianc\u00e9 Travis Riley), Mason, Mallory, Cooper and Chloe O\u2019Brien, all of Frankfort and\u00a01 great granddaughter, Ridley Burns.\u00a0\u00a0She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Roy Glover<\/p>\n
