Robert A. Shelley Sr. 91, of Kokomo, Ind., died July 26, 2023 at Wellbrooke of Kokomo.\u00a0 He was born April 5, 1932 in Ballard, Arkansas to James Thomas & Mary Ann (Connell) Shelley.\u00a0 He was previously married to Sandra Janet (Russell) Houston and they divorced. <\/p>\n

Robert was a graduate of high school in Ash Flat, Arkansas.\u00a0 He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.\u00a0 He had worked at General Motors in Marion, Ind. for 40 years.\u00a0 Robert was a member of the Peace Valley Pentecostal Church in Arkansas. He enjoyed baseball, basketball.\u00a0 He loved God, church, family and being outdoors.<\/p>\n

Robert is survived by daughters:\u00a0 Janet (Greg) Bartley of Kokomo, Margaret Ann Shelley of Marion, Roberta Jean (Rich Molina of Port Lavaca, Texas, Carlyn Sue (Tom) Haas of Fernley, NV,\u00a0Sons:\u00a0 James Thomas (Rhonda) Shelley of Elwood, Robert Andrew Shelley of Frankfort,\u00a0Sisters:\u00a0 Betty Qualls of Missouri, Rosa Haney of Washington,\u00a0Brother:\u00a0 Bobby Shelley of Arkansas,\u00a0Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.\u00a0He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and 8 sisters<\/p>\n
