Charles W. Nipper, 94, a former Frankfort resident, died November 18, 2024 at Century Villa Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Greentown, Ind.\u00a0 He was born October 29, 1930 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Jeffery Davis & Ida (Preston) Nipper.\u00a0 He married Linda Jean Barker on June 28, 1957 in Frankfort and she preceded him in death on January 28, 2011.<\/p>\n

Charles proudly served his cou $\"\"$ <\/em><\/strong>ntry in the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of Corporal during the Korean War.\u00a0 He had lived in Florida, moving to Indiana in 1955 after the service.\u00a0 He farmed for 32 years, worked in maintenance at McDonalds for 8 years, and retired from Western Schools in October of 2010. Charles enjoyed gardening, working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren.<\/p>\n

Charles is survived by his grandsons:\u00a0 Craig Alan (Ann) Loveless of Kokomo, Curtis Erik (Marine) Loveless of Kokomo, great grandchildren:\u00a0 Bethany, Conner (Grace) and Alec Loveless.\u00a0In addition to his parents and spouse, he was preceded in death by 7 brothers, 3 sisters and daughter Anita Coolbaugh in 2018.<\/p>\n
