Martha \u201cAnn\u201d Godbey, 72, of Frankfort,<\/strong> passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.\u00a0 She was born June 16, 1952, in Frankfort to Leslie Elmer and Geneva (Hill) Flood.\u00a0 She married Jeff Fisher and later divorced.\u00a0 She then married to Lee Lanning, and they divorced.\u00a0 She married Steve Godbey and he preceded her in passing.<\/p>\n

Ann was a graduate of Frankfort Senior High School, class of 1970.\u00a0 She worked for Fairfield Manufacturing in Lafayette for many years.\u00a0 She enjoyed cooking, listening to country and Christian music, and dancing.\u00a0 She also loved spending time with her dog, Mr. Shivers.\u00a0 Although she was one that enjoyed her time alone, she loved spending time with her friends and family.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her children, James Calvin (Kris) Fisher of Idaho, Shane Alan Lanning of Indianapolis, and Sheri Ann (Jason) Hardy of Noblesville; sister, Patricia (Michael) Manion; special sister, Connie Hill; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n

Along with her husband, Steve; she was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jo Ella Tillis, Gene Flood, Charles Flood, Robert Livingston, Alan Livingston, and Ronnie McClure.<\/p>\n

Per Ann\u2019s request, there will be no public services. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.\u00a0 Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is assisting with arrangements.\u00a0 Memorial contributions may be made in Ann\u2019s honor to the family to assist with funeral expenses.\u00a0 Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n
