Grace \u201cJeanette\u201d Conklin, 97, of Frankfort, passed away November 22, 2024 at Wesley Manor Retirement Community.\u00a0 She was born on September 16, 1927 in Frankfort to Melvel and Ethel (Walter) Catron.\u00a0 She married Charles B. Conklin, Jr. on January 4, 1943 and he preceded her in death on April 21. 2011.<\/p>\n

$\"\"$ Jeanette attended Frankfort High School and worked for Mallory Controls in Frankfort for 34 years, retiring in 1989.\u00a0 She was a member of New Life Assembly of God and the Eagles Lodge in Frankfort, where she was a charter member of the Eagles Auxiliary.\u00a0 She enjoyed fishing, camping, and taking walks.<\/p>\n

Surviving are her\u00a0Daughter: Patty (Bill) Joiner of Lebanon,\u00a0Son: Kenneth P. Conklin of Monticello,\u00a07 Grandchildren, along with Several Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Grandchildren.\u00a0\u00a0She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Nancy C. Conklin, son: Gary (Gloria) Conklin, sisters: Louise Curnutt and Betty Hollis, and her brothers: James and Robert Catron.<\/p>\n
