<\/p>\nThe Clinton Central Girls’ basketball team finished as the champions of the Union City Tournament.<\/p>\n
Carly Davison was named MVP of the tournament. Davison, Lynsie Wallsmith, and Emily Long were named to the all-tournament team.<\/p>\n
The Bulldogs picked up a first-round win over Blackford 52-17. Davison led all scorers with 23 in the win.<\/p>\n
In the second round, Clinton Central took down the host school Union City 40-22 with Davison leading the way once again with 20 points.<\/p>\n
In the championship game, the Bulldogs took on the Fort Wayne Blackhawks. Clinton Central pulled out a nail-biter 48-47. Riley Dellinger, Davison and Long all finished in double-figures in the game.<\/p>\n
