<\/p>\n

Gary T. Kyle, 80, of Rossville,<\/strong> passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.\u00a0 He was born on August 26, 1944, in Fordsville, Kentucky to Thomas and Magdeline (Cooper) Kyle.\u00a0 He married Betty Young on March 6, 1964, in West Lafayette, and she survives.<\/p>\n

Gary was a graduate of Lawrence Township High School in 1962. \u00a0He worked for Staleys for 26 years and then Steve\u2019s Overhead Door until he retired in 2009.\u00a0 He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and watching Purdue Athletics.\u00a0 He had a quick wit and his claim to fame was being mistaken for Chuck Norris.<\/p>\n

Along with his wife of nearly 61 years, Gary is survived by his children, David \u201cBrad\u201d (Rebecca) Kyle, Troy (Dawn) Kyle, and Melissa Kyle; a brother, Marvin (Cheryl) Kyle; grandchildren, Alyssa (Seth) Foley, Lindsey (Matthew) Smith, Ashley Martin, Jacob (Rebecca) Kyle, Logan Kyle, Dakota (Bailey) Fullilove, Kobe (Olivia) Kyle, Madison Price and Joshua Kyle; and great grandchildren, Sawyer, Sonner, and Sailer Foley, Zeplyn Martin, Jett Kyle, Brylynn, Brydyn, and Bryxtyn Fullilove.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson-in-law, Jake Martin.<\/p>\n
