Keystone Cooperative continues its strong commitment to youth agriculture education and leadership by donating $40,000 to the Indiana FFA Foundation in 2025.

This commitment reflects the value Keystone and its employees and farmer-members place on the FFA

organization and the many benefits it offers its members.

To amplify the impact of Keystone’s gift, Syngenta will match the $40,000 donation with an equivalent contribution to the National FFA Foundation on Keystone’s behalf. This contribution reinforces Keystone’s dedication to fostering the next generation of agricultural leaders in the communities it serves.

This year’s donation will support programs that provide hands-on learning experiences in conservation, technology, and leadership development. Keystone recognizes the invaluable role that FFA plays in preparing students for careers in the evolving agricultural industry. Many Keystone employees are former FFA members, and several continue to give back as volunteers, mentors, coaches, and contest judges.

“The cooperative spirit is built on working together to create opportunities in agriculture,” said Kevin Still, CEO of Keystone Cooperative. “This $40,000 donation to the Indiana FFA Foundation reflects our ongoing investment in the young leaders who will drive this industry forward. Our mission to serve our customers and local communities is best seen through contributions such as this one”

“The agricultural industry continues to evolve rapidly, and we believe FFA plays a critical role in equipping young people with the leadership skills necessary for success,” said Vern Hawkins, President, Syngenta Crop Protection. “We’re proud to stand alongside Keystone Cooperative in supporting the future of agriculture.”

This initiative aligns with Keystone’s broader efforts to develop and support young professionals in agriculture. Programs like SEED (Securing Experience & Employee Development) offer non-college-bound graduates full-time employment opportunities within Keystone, allowing them to explore different sectors of the cooperative and build long-term careers in agriculture and energy.

“Keystone has been an outstanding partner of the Indiana FFA, and their generous commitment to our members across the state is a testament to that partnership. We deeply appreciate Keystone’s dedication to the future of agriculture and our organization,” said Lisa Chaudion, Executive Director, Indiana FFA Foundation.

By investing in FFA and workforce development, Keystone Cooperative continues to honor its mission to Lead, Serve, Grow, and Embrace the future of agriculture.
