As Boone County continues to grow, the Boone Economic Development Corporation (Boone EDC) is stepping up to address one of the region\u2019s most pressing challenges: the need for diverse and attainable housing options. In a strategic move to explore forward-thinking housing models, Boone EDC has partnered with Indianapolis-based Helix 33 to host an educational event for local leaders focused on innovative housing solutions.<\/p>\n

The event brought together a cross-section of Boone County\u2019s leadership, including elected officials, business leaders, and community stakeholders. Attendees included:<\/p>\n

These custom-built units are manufactured off-site in a controlled environment, then transported and assembled efficiently on location. This streamlined process reduces construction time and costs, offering a promising solution for communities facing housing shortages.<\/p>\n
