Ronald Gene Cheek, 59, of Summitville, Ind., passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home.\u00a0 He was born on March 28, 1958 in Tipton, IN to Jesse J. & Wilma (Yeary) Cheek.\u00a0 Gene was formerly married to Peggy Napper.\u00a0Ronald worked as a Welder and was a veteran of the US Army from 1976-1977.\u00a0 He was a member of the Milwaukee Iron Motorcycle Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping.<\/p>\n

He is survived by:\u00a0Mother:\u00a0 Wilma Cheek of Summitville,\u00a0Sister:\u00a0 Linda Schweitzer of Alexandra, IN,\u00a02 Sons:\u00a0 Joshua Cheek and Calvin Cheek both of Oklahoma City,\u00a03 Daughters:\u00a0 Jessica Cheek of Oklahoma City,\u00a0Tia Cheek of Kansas City, MO, Lea Cheek of Alexandra, IN,\u00a02 Nieces: Kim Harrington (Marc Swindell),\u00a0Michelle Harrington.<\/p>\n

As well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.\u00a0Ronald was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Richard James Cheek.<\/p>\n

Main St., Frankfort, Ind.\u00a0 Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home.\u00a0 Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum, Frankfort, Ind.
