YMCA Gives Reason for Closure

The Clinton County Family YMCA takes the safety of our staff, members, children, and families very seriously. Our community is like a family, and we do everything in our power to care for and protect those that call the Y home for fitness, childcare, employment, and social programs.
Because of this, we felt it necessary to close the building Thursday. There is no immediate threat for safety at this time, and we will resume business as usual tomorrow.
This closure is not due to any ongoing health concerns, any threat to property, or anything business-related for the Y. We ask that the public and community respect the privacy of the situation and refrain from making assumptions, passing along false information, or asking for further details as we are not at liberty to share regarding this developing situation.
If you have any immediate concerns or questions, please reach out to the CEO Stephanie Cooper directly at [email protected]. The Y reopens tomorrow at 5 a.m.
