2 Cents Per Gallon Adds Up For Recovery Dream

One 80 Recovery Resources is just an idea on paper right now. Not one brick has been laid or shovel of dirt turned.  But this faith-based sober living home to be built on 200 west in Frankfort is an idea gaining considerable momentum in Clinton County.

Drug and Alcohol addiction can tear apart families, ruin careers and tear down lives.

Baily Trucking has donated the land on 200 West. The City of Frankfort has earmarked $100,000 toward the project. Over 20 individual families have stepped up with cash donations. Clinton County has earmarked at least $50,000 toward the home dedicated to recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.

Now several locally owned gas stations will be donating 2 cents  of your purchase for every gallon for one week toward the home.

The following gas stations from Monday August 26 through Sunday September 1st will donate 2 cents for every gallon purchased toward the development and construction of One 80 Recovery Resources:

Good To Go on South Jackson, Columbia Street and Interstate 65 interchange.

Clark West near Esserman Tire

Friendly Market across from Dominos in Frankfort and at 15 S. Plank Street in Rossville.

Chamber of Commerce CEO Shan Sheridan helped set up the arraignment according to Larry Glass, treasurer of the 501 C-3 Corporation.

Terris Ayes and Longhorn Marketing donated signage for the effort.

Larry Glass and Liz DeRosa hold one of the banners in the Kaspar Media front lobby.  The signs will soon be posted at participating gas stations in Clinton County
