Last year’s article from the annual Wag-A-Thon by Patty Parks:

Around 25 Dogs were in the Paw Pals annual Wag A Thon Saturday morning. The weather was perfect for a dog walk.

President of Paw Pals,Pam Butz says this is their 23rd annual Wag A Thon, It is always held on the 3rd Saturday of May.

Paw Pals is a separate from the shelter, They raise money and the Wag A Thon is their main fundraiser. Their main goal is medical expenses for the shelter residents. They help with food, bedding, toys and anything that will make the fur babies comfortable during their stay. Pam says her favorite word is yes when the shelter calls for help.

Paw Pals has their own Facebook page and post cats and dogs available for adoption  everyday.

If you want to support Paw Pals the address is Box 124 Frankfort, Indiana 46057.

Paw Pals sold Wag A Thon T-shirts Saturday as they do every year.

Last year Paw Pals raised around $16,000 which goes to help shelter residents with surgeries and other expenses.

As always the Humane Society can always use dog food, cat food, blankets, laundry detergent, towels, and toys.
