The 2nd Annual Golf Outing to Benefit Alzheimer’s is set for June 21 to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s research and prevention for Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month.

The event will kick off at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 21 with a shotgun start at the Frankfort Commons Golf Course at 50 N. Park Dr. in Frankfort and will continue throughout the day.

The event allows 4-person teams of men, women or co-ed with an $80 registration fee per golfer or $320 for the entire team. The registration fee includes a box lunch, range balls, course fees and a golf cart for the event. Winning teams will be presented with prizes at the conclusion of the event.

Organizer Linda Large commented that the event is still seeking entries for the outing to continue the fundraising effort for those with Alzheimer’s.

“We would love some more teams,” Large commented. “If you would like an entry form, please contact me and I will bring you one. (I) look forward to seeing some of you.”

Community members must register for the outing by June 11 by calling Linda Large at 765-650-0228 or the Frankfort Commons Golf Course at 765-659-1324.

Community members are also encouraged to support the cause by sponsoring a hole during the outing for $50.
