Josephine Allen, 80, of Flora, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at I.U. Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born on October 27, 1937, in St. Charles, VA, the daughter of Earl Woodrow Lawson and Virgie M. (Hyden) Lawson. She married Harold Allen, Jr, on October 28, 1975 in Cutler, IN.
She was a graduate of St. Charles High School in St. Charles, VA. She had worked for Memorial Hospital for 5 years and the Brethren Home of 27 years, retiring in 2001. Josephine enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, being outdoors, and helping people.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one son Greg (Lisa) Miles of Flora; three daughters, Teresa (Jerry) Coppernol and Cindy (Dominic) Rozzi both of Logansport, and Sherry (Dave) Ent of Dayton, OH; Sisters, Earline Fouts of Cincinnati, OH and Lucille Mercer of Dayton, OH, and 6 grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Earl Woodrow and Virgie M. (Hyden) Lawson
