The Clinton County 4-H Goat Club would like to request your assistance in providing monetary donations for new metal goat pens for the Clinton County Fair. The pens will cost approximately $25,000 – $40,000. Any donation is appreciated; however, the Premium, Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsors will be listed on a sign in the goat barn and will be displayed in the show barn during the Goat Show.
o Premium $800 and above;
o Gold $500 – $799;
o Silver $300 – $499;
o Bronze $100 – $299.
o Top 10 Sponsors will be advertised in the 2018 Goat Show Program
Metal pens would enhance the appearance of the goat barn, while providing safety for our goats, as well as visitors. We have quality animals that are raised in Clinton County, and we want the 4-H members to be proud of their goat projects. The club currently uses old wooden pens which were built by goat members and their families. These pens break often and need constant repairs. Funds raised by the Goat Club will be matched by the 4-H Council through a grant from the Community Foundation.
Please make your checks payable to the Clinton County 4-H Council with a memo for Goat Pens. Your generous donation can be mailed in the self-addressed, stamped envelope to Colleen McWhirt at 1172 N CR 400 E, Frankfort, IN 46041. If you are a Top 10 Sponsor, we will contact you to obtain a copy of your logo for the Goat Show Program. Donations are tax deductible and a tax ID number can be provided, if needed. If possible, we would like to receive these donations prior to March 31, 2018 to allow adequate time to order and receive the metal pens prior to the 2018 Goat Show.
