The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a bridge closure on U.S. 421 over Eagle Creek in Boone County.

Beginning on or after Monday, June 2, crews will be doing preventative maintenance on the bridge over Eagle Creek, located north of Zionsville. Work is anticipated to last until early August but is weather-dependent and subject to change. The official detour around the closure follows U.S. 421 to State Road 32 to U.S. 31 to I-465 returning to U.S. 421.

INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and to use caution while traveling in and around work zones.
