Chamber’s Casino Night Deals Out Food, Games and Networking on March 14

Casino Night Returns March 14 at Diamond Event Center.

The Clinton County Chamber of Commerce is bringing back its Casino Night fundraiser on March 14, offering an evening of gaming, food and socializing at the Diamond Event Center on State Road 39 south of Frankfort. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with casino play scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m.

Event details and registration

The Chamber is limiting attendance to about 150 guests for the Thursday night event, which is open to both Chamber members and non‑members. Admission is 40 dollars per person for Chamber members and 50 dollars for non‑members, and includes gaming chips, dinner and access to an open bar. Those who RSVP by March 1 will also be automatically entered into a 500‑dollar prize drawing at no additional cost.

“This is just something fun for our members to get together and have a social event,” said Chamber staff member Tina Stock. “And yeah, have some fun, get to know each other.” She emphasized that the evening is intended as a mixer-style gathering rather than a formal program, and that community members who are not Chamber members are welcome to purchase tickets and attend.

Games, food and entertainment

Guests will find six professional-style gaming tables set up inside the Diamond Event Center, including three blackjack tables, a poker table, roulette and craps. Players will receive chips to use throughout the night, with staff and volunteer dealers on hand to help explain the games to newcomers.

In addition to gaming, the event will feature a catered meal by Slabby’s, which also provided food at the Chamber’s previous Casino Night two years ago. “He did an amazing job two years ago,” Stock said of the caterer. “It was very good.” An open bar is included in the ticket price, and a DJ will provide music throughout the night. Stock said karaoke is expected to return after proving popular at the last Casino Night.

Door prizes and sponsorships

Rather than a traditional raffle, the Chamber will convert players’ winnings into entries for door prizes. At the end of the evening, guests will be able to exchange their remaining chips for tickets and place those tickets toward specific prize drawings. “You take your winning chips, you turn them into tickets,” Stock explained. “Those tickets are then distributed in which door prizes you would like to try to win, and then a random draw.”

The Chamber is still seeking local businesses to help underwrite portions of the event. Current sponsors include The Farmers Bank, Edward Jones office represented by Chamber President Chase Isgrigg, and Momentum Title, which is sponsoring the bar. Stock said additional sponsorships are available for photography, audio, food and individual game tables, as well as for door prizes. Businesses interested in donating items or sponsoring a portion of the evening may contact her directly.

Venue and contact information

Casino Night will take place at the Diamond Event Center, 2574 State Road 39, in the former Stuart Davis Furniture building south of Frankfort. Stock described the site as “just a beautiful venue” and noted that the space has been used successfully for previous Chamber events.

Those seeking more information, wishing to reserve tickets or inquiring about sponsorship opportunities may contact Stock by email at tina@ccinchamber.org or by phone at 765‑701‑0402. “They can reach out to myself, Tina,” she said. “We’re definitely looking for people to participate that way.”
