Linda Carol Thomas, 83, of Frankfort, passed away September 22, 2026 at IU Health Frankfort Hospital. She was born on May 13, 1943 in Frankfort to John and Opal (Robison) Reeves. She married James Duane Thomas on October 11, 1963 in Farmington, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2020.
Linda was a graduate of Frankfort High School and had worked as a housekeeper, CNA, purchasing agent for Wesley Manor, and was a manager at the Flying J travel center. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her animals, especially her dogs. She also enjoyed crocheting, watching TV, and playing games on her IPad.
Surviving are her daughters: Carol Marie Sims and Tina Lynn Thomas (Shirldon) Winegard, her grandchildren: CJ Thomas, Shirldon Winegard III, Aaron Michael Winegard, Julie Winegard, and Amanda Wise, along with her great-grandchildren: Claudia May and Amber Rose. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2026 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort.
