A 7th grader has presented a Frankfort flag to the city of Frankfort. Redman Porter spends most of his time in Frankfort or Cartersville, Georgia. In 2020, he started designing flags and in February of this year, Redman emailed every town he had designed a flag for, and Mayor Judy Sheets was the only mayor who responded. Sheets plans on flying the flag at Prairie Creek Park.

Light blue represents the Frankfort Lagoons
Dark blue represents Prairie Creek that runs through downtown Frankfort
White represents the City’s brightness to the new electric era
Diamond represents Frankfort’s nickname – Gem City
