Join us for a free summer concert with a 20-piece orchestra in the Elizabeth O’Rear Skanta Theatre in the Frankfort Library! The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 21. Seating is limited and cannot be reserved in advance, so be sure to arrive a little early. The doors open at 7 p.m. All ages are welcome.
Prepare to travel through time as you listen to pieces from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary eras. Jesse Garcia is a violist from the Philharmonic of Indianapolis. He was born and raised in Clinton County. As a child, he found a passion for music through his family. Garcia began his study of the viola when he was 12 years old, under the guidance of Janet Priest.
Expect to hear some beautiful music, and learn a little about the history of music, and some information on specific composers. This is the groups third year playing.
