Edna “Janie” Jones, 81, of Frankfort passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on June 14, 1937 in Frankfort to Samuel Richardson. She married Marvin R. Glass Sr. and they divorced. She then married Fairon R. Jones and they divorced.
Janie was a lifelong Frankfort resident and attended Michigantown Schools. She worked for National Seal, Jewel Simon, was a cook at the Paul Phillippe Senior Center, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed having pen pals, collecting salt & pepper shakers and cake pans and was an avid Elvis fan. She loved spending time with her family and her animals.
Surviving family includes her Children: Richard (Vicki) Glass, Rodney (Kimmi) Jones, Edgar S. Jones all of Frankfort, Wesley, Todd, Laura, and Eddie; Daughter-in-law: Kathy Glass of Frankfort; 18 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Mark R. Glass Sr., 4 brothers, a sister, and a granddaughter: Nikki Payne.
