With the delayed opening of the TPA Park pool this year and the water slide not operational, Board of Public Works and Safety members have approved reducing the cost of pool admission to $1 for everyone for the remainder of the summer season.
According to Parks Superintendent Travis Sheets, everyone is encouraged to take advantage of the $1 admission fee.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience as repairs were made to the pool that caused a delayed opening and continue to be grateful for residents’ understanding that the water slide is out of commission,” Sheets said. “Thanks to the Board of Works for approving our request to reduce the fee as our way of saying thank you to all those who continue to come out and enjoy the pool. We will be addressing the repair of the slide and working to ensure next year’s opening is very smooth.”
The pool is available for private parties seven days a week from 7-9 p.m. for a flat fee of $275. Contact the Parks Department office at 765-659-3422 to make a reservation.
The pool is open Sundays – Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., with the pool closing for the season on Tuesday, August 7 at 6:30 p.m.
