Brian Lee Walters, 53, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his home. He was born on August 15, 1964, in Lebanon, to Michael and Sharon (Cline) Walters. On November 2, 1985, Brian married Zona Taylor; she survives.
In 1981, Brian graduated from Avon High School. Brian and Zona moved to Frankfort in 1992. He worked at Zachary Confections and then Emerson. Over the last eight and a half years, Brian worked through multiple positions at NTK Precision Axle, most recently as a technical training supervisor. Brian was known as a Mr. Fix It and a jack of all trades; he always had a project and something that needed repaired. He took great joy in spending time with his grandchildren and riding motorcycles.
In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by his daughter, Maghan Walters (Marc Travis), of Frankfort; son, Brad (Kari) Walters, of Lebanon; seven grandchildren, Jazlynn, Austin, Braydon, Jerzie, Parker, Kavon, and Madison; two brothers, and one sister.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Brian will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials in Brian’s name may be made to the American Heart Association.
