Witham Health Services is under temporary visitor restrictions to the labor, delivery and post-partum unit of the hospital due to the significant rise in flu activity. This restriction includes but is not limited to:
- No visitor less than 18 years of age.
- No one with any signs or symptoms of illness including: fever, cough, sore throat, diarrhea and vomiting.
- Only 4 pre-determined visitors will be allowed to visit each patient. The names of these visitors will be requested upon admission to the unit.
The safety and well-being of all moms and babies is our highest priority. We apologize for any inconvenience, but assure you that the health of our patients is our first concern.
