At approximately 6:30 p.m. on May 29, Indiana State Troopers with the Lafayette District responded to a vehicle crash that occurred on US 41 south bound near County Road 550 North in Warren County. The vehicle that crashed was a 2006 black Chevrolet Equinox. The only occupant of the vehicle was a male juvenile who sustained life threatening injuries. The male driver was flown to Champaign for medical treatment.
It should be noted that a vehicle pursuit was initiated by the Boswell Police Department when the vehicle failed to yield for a traffic violation. The pursuit continued on into Warren County where the vehicle left the roadway and crashed. Indiana State Police Crash Reconstructionist were called to the scene to assist. Also assisting with the incident was the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
