April S. Davis, 59, of Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Aperion Care of Frankfort. She was born January 22, 1960, in Bloomington. In 1978, April graduated from Frankfort Senior High School. She had worked as a QNA at Wesley Manor for seven years and enjoyed going to garage sales and making the holidays dinners for the family.
Surviving April are her mother, Arland (Farmer) Thacker, of Frankfort; son, Michael Davis, of Frankfort; granddaughters, Madison and Haven; brothers, Kelly Miller, of Peoria, IL, Shane Miller, of Frankfort, Charles “Monday” Miller, of Las Vegas, and Mark Miller, of Milton, KY; and sister, Teresa (Rob) Bales, of Frankfort.
April is preceded in death by her father, Carl Miller; step-father, Jess Thacker; former husband, Gary Davis; and brother, Carl “Bill” Miller.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort, at 10:00 a.m. Memorials in April’s name may be made to help the family defray funeral expenses.
