Three churches partnered together in April for an event called Find Your Brave. This event was for the girls 6th-12th grade. The event went so well, we are now planning another event on Sunday, August 18 from 4-8 p.m. for boys grades 6th-12th grade. It is the same set up as the girls with break out sessions on mental health, drugs, etc.
Troy Bacon is going to do a break out session on his worldly travels regarding adventure and temptations while doing such. Josh Marshall is going to do a break out session like his Boys With a Purpose program. Shan Sheridan is going to do a break out session on Finding Your Brave (a Bible study session). The Mayor is going to do the closing of the event. Healthy Communities is helping with the addictions and mental health break outs…men will be presenting.
