Justin C. Sanders, 35, of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at his home. He was born October 22, 1984 in Anchorage, Alaska to Vic Sanders and Vonnie (Barnard) Wessell. On October 18, 2013, Justin married Samantha Grissom; she survives.
Justin attended Frankfort High School and later achieved his GED. He played high school football, jersey #71, where he was a starter on the team. Justin worked for Haynes International Steel Mill and was a member of the Local 2958. He was a man with a visionary mind who enjoyed writing short stories and playing board games.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his father, Vic and Becky Sanders; mother, Vonnie Wessell; sons, Wyatt Tristan and Shannon Christopher Edward; daughter, Amelia Eden; his best friend, Fil Wills; cousin, Bradley Taylor; brothers, Jarrod and Joshua Sanders, and Jesse and Jacob Wessell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Matthew King will officiate.
