Contractor crews completed their water main work activity Saturday and the water mains have been flushed and tested. Your tap water is now safe to use for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food.
Frankfort Water Works recommends that you open your kitchen sink cold water tap and allow your water to run for about 10 minutes to clear your water service line all the way out to our water main.
The boil order advisory was for a valve replacement. This affected a total of 48 residential customers and two commercial customers in the areas of South Columbia Street between Hackett Street and White Street along with White Street between First Street and South Jackson Street.
