Bernedia Kay Bartley, 79, of Frankfort passed away March 1, 2020 in her home. She was born April 23, 1940 in Herrogate, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Edna Brooks Hensley and Dewey Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Son: Jason Bartley, Husband: Jerry Bartley, Sister: Beatrice Ayers, two Brothers: Orbia and Beaty Martin, and a Half Brother: Clifford Martin.
Kay is survived by her Sons: Kenneth (Kim) Newhart Jr. of Frankfort, Timothy (Angie) Newhart of Chalmers, and Joshua Bartley (Mary Britton) of Frankfort; Daughter: Kebbra (Frank) Scherf of Acworth, GA; Step Daughter: Jodi Cullings of Crawfordsville; Half Brother: Robert David Hensley; 8 Grandchildren; and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Kay was married in 1958 to Kenneth D. Newhart and he was killed April 3, 1961. She married Jerry Bartley on June 20, 1964.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Jefferson Cemetery.
