Frankfort Street Department employees will be collecting curbside trash in the northeast quadrant of the city on Friday, April 10. The previously published trash collection schedule shows that no trash will be collected on this holiday.
However, street department staff have been working in alternating shifts to reduce health risks and promote social distancing. Canceling the April 10 collection would have resulted in a double pick up which would require more than one shift to be on duty and work in close proximity. For the safety of street department employees, the city has elected to maintain the regular collection schedule.
All city offices will be closed on April 10 due to the holiday and will reopen on Monday, April 13
