The Frankfort Golf Commons hosted it’s first Haunted Night Golf on Friday, October 30th.
It was a beautiful fall evening, but the chilly night air didn’t stop die hard golfers from hitting the course. It was a fun night filled with haunted music, hot chocolate and apple cider, fire pits, and scary characters including a Grim Reaper greeting their guests at each hole.
The golfers enjoyed multi colored glow balls, tricks or treats on each hole, Laser lights, and a parade of about 40 goblins along the course and wooded areas to add to the excitement.
Jesse Cacy, General Manager, would like to thank the community for coming out to make this a successful event. He would also like to thank, Mike Bennett of Efusion Entertainment for the wonderful spooky music, up lighting, and sound effects for the evening. A big thanks goes to The Frankfort Commons staff and the special people who volunteered to bring this event to life. Also, Sunbelt Rentals for special jumbo lighting on the back 9 of the golf course. Thanks again to Anna Emery & Erick Dircks coming out and filming this unique event. The Frankfort Commons Golf Course is looking forward to hosting more events in the future. The restaurant and bar inside the pro shop was working tirelessly to add some tasty food and drinks to the event. The Fox Den restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a full menu and daily specials. It is open to the general public for dine in or carry out.
