At approximately 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Frankfort Police were dispatched to the 300 block of North Bunnell Street for a man who reported he had just shot an intruder. Officers quickly arrived and attempted life saving measures, as well as detained the shooter.
On Wednesday afternoon, Clinton County Coroner Amanda Abbott released the name of the victim who was 37-year-old Kevin Huffer of Frankfort.
The case is an active death investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
