A Michigantown man was killed early Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in the 5600 block of Michigantown Road.
Matthew Brady of Michigantown was pronounced dead at the scene after the 2003 Chrysler van he was driving crashed head-on into a 2012 GMC truck driven by Jason McQuinn of rural Michigantown.
According to a report from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, McQuinn was eastbound in the 5600 block of Michigantown Road when Brady, who was westbound, for some unknown reason crossed over into the eastbound lane and hitting McQuinn head-on.
Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputies are reconstructing the crash. The area where the crash occurred was wet at the time with a curve in the roadway, which was closed to traffic for about two-and-a-half hours. Toxicology is pending.
There is no word on McQuinn’s condition.
