Wilma Ruth (Yeary) Cheek, 92, of Summitville, Ind., died February 15, 2021 in her home. She was born on July 9, 1928 in Clinton County to Jasper and Nancy (Ellison) Yeary. She married Jesse J. Cheek in 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1981.
Wilma was a Homemaker and loved to cook for her family. She also enjoyed being outside, especially helping with the vegetable garden and the Casino and playing cards.
Surviving are her Daughter: Linda Cheek Schweitzer of Alexandria, IN; Grandchildren: Kim Harrington (Marc Swindell), Michelle Harrington, Cher Cheek, Adam Cheek, Jessica Cheek, Calvin Cheek, Josh Cheek, and Derrick Cheek; Several Great-Grandchildren, including Andrew, Mikey, and Peyton; 2 Great Great-Grandchildren: Oaklei and Kallen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons: Ronald Cheek and Richard James Cheek.
