Frankfort High School junior Elijah Anthony is headed back to the state wrestling tournament for a third straight year. He becomes only the third Hit Dog in school history to earn three trips to the state finals.
Anthony placed fourth in the semi-state at New Castle last Saturday. He had two tech fall victories in his first two matches against Zach Haughton of Mt. Vernon Fortville and Jake Necessary of Richmond in the 126-pound division.
In the semifinals, he fell to eventual state champion Zeke Seltzer of Indianapolis Cathedral and then to Blake Wolf of East Central in the third-place match.
