Larry A. Stoms, 87 of rural Frankfort, died February 28, 2021 at his home. He was born August 11, 1933 on the family farm in Clinton County, Ind. to Alford and Lucille (Loveless) Stoms. He married Linda Cunningham on August 22, 1959 at the Kempton Christian Church.
Larry was a graduate of Frankfort High School. He was a lifelong farmer and was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1953-1955, serving in Japan. Larry enjoyed fishing and camping at Racoon Lake, hunting and gardening, and was known by many for his tomatoes, and he loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Stoms of rural Frankfort, 2 daughters: Cheryl (Rob Toney) Stoms of rural Frankfort and Kim (Melinda Seaters) Stoms of rural Frankfort, 2 granddaughters: Amber Stoms of Forest and Jennifer Stoms of Kokomo, 5 great grandchildren, Addison, Lauren, Korben, Austyn, & Lane. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Derek Stoms in 2004, sister, Sandra Mays and a daughter, Cheryl’s twin, Carol.
Funeral Services:
Private services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Burial will be in Kempton Cemetery, Tipton County. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O.
