Construction of this year’s house started the first day of school. The project home is located in the new Southridge Subdivision Phase II. Students from Frankfort, Clinton Central, and Clinton Prairie, meet in morning and afternoon sessions with Darren Longenecker at the site for hands on instruction.
The nearly 1700 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is for sale and will be ready for occupancy in June of 2022. Price is dependent upon many of the finish selections a buyer may choose, but is projected to be in the mid $200,000’s.
The building trades students have a rich tradition of building quality homes dating back to the 1970’s. Many of the homes in Southridge, Meadowbrook, and Homewood and Wesley Manor Subdivisions were projects completed by the program.
