Luther S. Ramsey, 82, of Frankfort, passed away September 12, 2021 at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon, Ind. He was born on September 20, 1938 in Somerset, Kentucky to Elmer and Cora (Meece) Ramsey. His marriage of 55 years was to Diana Neely on Jun 11, 1966 and she survives.
Luther attended school in Kentucky and moved to Frankfort in 1964. He had worked for General Battery/Exide for 33 years. Luther loved to work and enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and watching WWE. Being an old car and train enthusiast, he enjoyed working on and collecting model cars.
Surviving along with his wife: Diana are his Children: Jennifer Ramsey of Frankfort, Brian (Yasuko) Ramsey of Japan, and Natalie Coffman (Jason Unger) of Cutler; Grandchildren: Emily Coffman and Michael Ramsey; and his Brother: Robert (Barbara) Ramsey of Somerset, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mom: Marie Ramsey.
Friends may visit Noon – 1:45 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort.
