Beatrice “Bea” Ann Sigler of Delphi, Ind., died September 25, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Delphi, Ind. Born on September 8, 1934 in Elwood, Indiana to Harrold Lee and Opal (Lynas) Lee. She married John N. Sigler on November 20, 1953 and he preceded her in death on December 22, 2000.

ol 1952 graduate where she played 4 years on girls’ basketball and volleyball teams. She retired from AT&T after 31 years. She served as full time President of Communications Workers of America state wide Local 4714 from 1984 until her retirement in December 1992 where she was involved in bargaining, arbitration and overseeing 6 Union contracts and served on the Governor’s Task Force, Indianapolis Mayor’s Advisory Committee, IUPUI Labor Advisory Board, Greater Marion County United Way and Riley Children’s Telethon. She was a member of the Frankfort PTA, a life member of Communication Workers of America and a life member of Telephone Pioneers.
She is survived by her son: Shane N. (Carrie) Sigler of Delphi, brother: Jack Lee of Elwood, IN,sister-in-law: Jeanne Lee of Covina, CA, 2 grandchildren: Clarissa (Tyler) Heise and Courtney (Kodi) Quinlisk, 3 great grandchildren: Gavin, Mason and Ryzley. Also survived by several nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by her parents, spouse, and 4 brothers Dan, Bob, Dallas and William Lee.
Funeral Service
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
